Evolutionary Computation is a research area which did not attract much attention until recently. However, during the last few years a vast array of techniques and methods have been developed. The Evolutionary Algorithms & Neural Networks & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (EVANNAI) is devoted to optimizing techniques in this area. This seminar will present various research projects which are currently underway and their relation to the research being conducted in this field on an international level.
