|
|
The Computer Vision and Systems Laboratory (CVSL) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Laval University, hosts the activities of seven professors and over fifty graduate students and research professionals, working together on the central theme of computer vision and its industrial and biomedical applications. Researchers from other departments, centers and organizations are also involved in a number of research projects. The Laboratory provides a dynamic and stimulating environment with an outstanding infrastructure. Its members participate in several national and international collaborations. The lab is a node of the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS) of the Network of Centres of Excellence program of the Government of Canada, and also receives funding by the Research Team Program of the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la nature et les technologies (FQRNT). The Laboratory organizes seminars and workshops on a regular basis and its research is published in the international literature. |
