01-06-2017 Laboratoire LVSN Dép. de génie électrique et de génie informatique, Université Laval Depth Texture Synthesis pour la reconstruction 3D de scènes à grande échelleAbstract: Depth Texture Synthesis is an approach which aims to generate 3D meshes of large scale scenes. The approach combines the use of Structure from Motion (SfM), active scanners (Kinect) and an image-based texture synthesis method to reconstruct facades of buildings in an improved and more realistic manner in comparison with other currently used methods. This seminar will provide a summary of the Depth Texture Synthesis project, its potential, as well as the results and limits of the approach.
