26-01-2007Video Analysis of Human ActivityAbstract Vision-based recognition of human motion is currently one of the most active research areas in the domain of computer vision. Motion recognition may simply be thought of as the classification of time varying feature data. It concerns the detection, tracking and recognition of people and more generally, the understanding of human behaviors from image sequences involving humans. The CVSL seminars are held on Fridays at 11:30 a.m. in room PLT-2700.
