Le Laboratoire de vision et systèmes numériques de l’Université Laval sollicite les candidatures d’étudiants intéressés à effectuer des études supérieures au niveau de la maîtrise (orientation recherche) et du doctorat, ainsi que des stagiaires postdoctoraux, dans le domaine de l'ingénierie de systèmes intelligents. Les projets portent en particulier sur l'apprentissage de représentations pour le traitement de l'image et du vidéo, l'apprentissage actif en-ligne, et l'automatisation de la configuration de systèmes d'apprentissage. Nous recherchons des candidats sérieux et motivés, ayant de l’intérêt et préférablement de l’expérience pour mener des travaux de recherche dans le domaine de l’apprentissage automatique et de son application.

Pour les étudiants à la maîtrise et au doctorat, le support financier est net, donné sous la forme de bourse, sans charge ni impôts. Les étudiants étrangers au doctorat peuvent généralement bénéficier d'une exemption des droits de scolarité supplémentaires, ayant ainsi les mêmes frais que les résidents du Québec (@ 3000$/an).

The Computer Vision and Systems Laboratory of Université Laval is requesting applications from students interested in pursuing graduate studies at the Master's (research-oriented) and PhD level, and postdoctoral fellowships as well, in the area of intelligent systems engineering. In particular, the projects focus on the learning of representations for images and video processing, online active learning and the automation of learning system configurations. We are looking for serious and motivated candidates, with interest and preferably experience to conduct research work in the area of machine learning and its application.
